About This Spot

Nestled quietly near the tranquil spaces of Great Grimsby Crematorium, Reflections Tea Rooms offers a pause from the day’s pace—an understated refuge where the hum of conversation blends with the gentle clink of cups. On arrival, there’s a comforting simplicity to the place that feels both familiar and unpretentious, where you might find yourself settling into a cozy corner or choosing to sit outside with a dog at your side, enjoying a breath of fresh air and a moment to unwind.

The atmosphere here moves at a gentle rhythm, neither rushed nor lengthy, with staff who embody a friendly and helpful warmth that complements the unhurried vibe. Though the décor may lean towards functional rather than decorative, the heart of Reflections lies in the everyday rituals it supports: a shared pot of tea for two, the quiet delight of a freshly prepared fish finger butty, or the understated pleasure of finely cooked scrambled eggs on buttered granary toast.

Food and drink here feel like familiar comforts—simple, honest, and served with care. The menu leans into classics you might crave at any hour: a modest full English breakfast with fluffy white toast, jacket potatoes with wholesome fillings, or a generous beacon bap. There’s joy in the little touches too, like a hot chocolate that warms the hands or a slice of gluten-free cake that invites you to linger just a bit longer with your coffee.

What makes Reflections Tea Rooms quietly special is its ability to gather a community of all ages—whether you’re a spirited six-year-old with a fondness for fish finger sandwiches or someone seeking a calm space to reflect with tea and cake. The place feels grounded in its local roots, welcoming in a way that invites gentle moments of connection, whether with friends, family, or simply yourself.

We visited for breakfast. I was surprised how many was there. We sat outside because we had a dog. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. Service was a little slow, but the staff were helpful and friendly

I quite like Reflections Tea Rooms. Primarily because, although I'm in my 60s, I'm still a kid at heart, and they have a smashing fish finger sandwich on the menu...nomnom... The coffee is really good, and the accompanying side salad is fresh and crunchy If I have a criticism, it is that the actual tea rooms feel a bit clinical in terms of decor. The tables and chairs serve their function well enough, but it feels like you're in an employee canteen rather than a tea room. The staff are very friendly and the food was served quickly. Overall, I give Reflections a definite thumbs and would recommend a visit.

First visit today but we shall certainly return. Gluten free St Clements cake was delicious. Coffee and cake for £5 seems reasonable. Young lady serving was cheerful, friendly and helpful.

Really nice cafe. I had my usual light snack (scrambled eggs on toast) and black coffee which were served in just a few minutes. Eggs were perfectly cooked for me (not rubbery) served on buttered granary bread - delightful!

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, lovely food, decent coffee & plenty of food at reasonable price. Was going to have a cake as they looked good, but didn't leave any room for one...

Thought we’d give it a try as we like to go to different venues for breakfast every couple of months and so glad we did. The ladies there were so nice and polite, service was quick and efficient and the food, large full English, was superb. Absolutely spot in.

Excellent service, well decorated and clean dining area, tables and chairs. The only negative, is the place has limited space. They have added an open outdoor area with picnic tables but the inside space has limited accommodation. Food is excellent and a modest price. Coffee grounds for the garden are free!

Went there for first time today for the Team Christmas breakfast treat by our Manager. Most of us had the large breakfast. Lovely and nice Lincolnshire sausages. Love egvs anyhow and hash browns tasted good too. Would reccomend. Tea room is very clean and lovely to have either breakfast but also a selection of cskes though the breakfast was filling enough
